Dr. Pedro Bueno 131

Quick Reference Guide

Professor Pedro Bueno is a new professor and will begin teaching at University of Maryland College Park for Fall 2018. As a full time tutor since 2010, below is my personal guide to his teaching style that I have observed so far.

POINTS BREAKDOWN:
29% Non-Exam (200 points), 71% Exam & Final (500 points)
Estimated Curve: No Info Yet

Clickers (In Class): 50 questions. 100 points. 2 point/question: 1/accuracy, 1/participation.
Clicker Homework: None.
Bonus Points: None.
Mastering Chemistry Online Homework: ONLY 3 attempts allowed/1 problem. 1 problem = 0.5 points. 20 problems (10 points)/1 homework. 10 homeworks total. 100 points. Graded on ACCURACY, not completion.
COMPARED to other professors, 20 problems/homework for 10 points is double the work with no extra benefit.
NOTE on Attempts: 3 attempts per homework problem is strict. It's very easy to enter the incorrect answer due to rounding error, or entering incorrectly.
